Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Training to Employment Funding

• Funding is available for individuals that would like to attend training programs that are in direct correlation to their employment
• To Qualify for Training Dollars

1. Must be unemployed
2. Under employed
3. Training must be completed with in a 12 month period
4. And all other funding possibilities have been exhausted

• Applications must be received at least six weeks before training is scheduled to start
• To apply a registration package must be completely filled out and faxed back to the ACFN Employment & Training Office
• A letter from the institution outlining the name, cost, start date and completion date is needed to be included with the registration package.(Letters of rejection from other funding providers should be included with the registration package)

  • Other Federal Funding
• Funding is available only based upon budgetary restrictions

* Please note we will not be assisting clients with Union Fees or Dues *

  **Warning** Should you fail to complete your course, attend training, or pass your course, you will not be eligible for future funding for a period of 1 year (black listed).  If you should be black listed more than once you may not be considered for funding in the future.
